Fordyce Ultra Marathon & 10km

Route description
This is a circular route running out from the Kareekloof facility turning right and winding along the tarred road through the scenic foothills and valleys of the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve. It's a tough but most enjoyable run timed perfectly to coincide with the period when most Comrades runners are completing their last “long one” before tapering their Comrades training. The route is free of traffic, with a variety of animals to be spotted along the way.

Water points are spaced every 3 kilometers and currently the race carries no cut-off or limit on entries.

Prizes & Give-aways
All Prize Winners receive a Gold Medal and all finishers in both races receive a Silver medal. There are T-Shirts to the first 500 entries on the 50km event as well. A variety of spot prizes are also given away at the prize giving, where recipients need to be present to qualify.
